Happy New Year
what an exciting year ahead we have coming up up
Welcome to not only a new month but a new year. This week we saw the first session back for the new year and what a great session it was. It was lovely to see everyone buzzing to be back at training and seeing each other after a two-week break.
2022 saw a lot of changes happen with a change of both coaches and management, but like a great family group that we are, we have all kept the club going and we cannot thank you all enough for your support.
In the last year we have had the peewee youth team make it through to the finals and the minnows not only making it through to the finals but winning them. We held discos, awards, attended different events including Deb Fest and The Stowmarket Carnival. We also held our own tournament The Curry Cup that bought several teams of seniors together and held a full day tournament.
2023 has a lot more excitement to come, we have events already booked in, up and coming AGM, Carnivals, shows and we will be holding more of our own events too. Please let us know if you have any events you would like us to attend or if you have ideas for events that we can organise our self. The 2023 diary is filling, and we would like to get as much in as we can.
The Mid Suffolk Mutts will be working alongside Bisha to make 2023 bigger and better in everything skater hockey.
About the club
Mid Suffolk Mutts is a skater hockey club for all. If you can skate, would like to start a new hobby or have played in the past and would like to get back into skater hockey then we are the club for you.
Our youngest members are 5 years old, and all age groups are welcome. We have people from all background, different diagnosis, genders, abilities.
The club started back in February 2019, and we had a large mix of children that could not skate had no idea about how to play hockey. Now we National league winners. We are a family orientated team that support one another, and we are now looking for more members to join in with our new development team.
