STREET HOCKEY IS DEAD, LONG LIVE STREET HOCKEY!!!

With Covid 19 stopping all organised sports it's been so good to see all hockey players from ball

, ice, and puck taking to the street to hone their skills.

Back in the 80's, & 90s street hockey was a newest fastest growing sport across the UK with teams setting up from Brighton to Edinburgh. The big boom was focused in the capital with further regions being set up and developed into the sport of Skater hockey.

The sport continued to grown an evolve from streets to halls with friendship groups and local community wanting to give it a go, training and taking their own playing and visual style across the country.

All the coaching team at the Mutts are so pleased with the players attitudes during this difficult time, we love seeing your photos and videos, and reminds us all of how we started the game, playing in carparks shooting at trolleys or turned over bins. The bloody Shins, the laughs with team mates and the buzz of finally pulling of " the move".

Keep Skating, Keep smiling, and keep your heads up
